Tiffany and Jocelyn are two incredibly kind, loving people, and it was a true honor to photograph their Central Park ceremony and Brooklyn waterfront portraits. They were inspired by the Wes Anderson film Moonrise Kingdom, and went about the day with an incredible sense of playful ness, simplicity and adventure. We scaled rocks in Central Park, found some quiet moments, and even stopped at Shake Shack for a snack before taking a ride on Jane's Carousel.
THEIR LOVE STORY: Jocelyn likes to say she found my face in an ocean of squared photographs (Instagram), 1,500 miles away and knew immediately that I was the one. We began as pen-pals, sending each other letters through the post (another thing inspired by our love of Moonrise Kingdom), having late night conversations and falling asleep together over the phone. We decided the distance couldn't keep as apart and when we meet we were inseparable and decided to run away together. We took a cross-country road trip from Arizona to New York City with our dog and everything we could fit in our car and began our life of adventures together. We've been together for 3 years.
